Improved working environment & costs

BAADER LINCO has developed a revolutionary plastic picking shackle with a chainless pendant. Patent(s) are pending. These plastic picking shackles have several advantages.

They eliminate hang-ups due to chains or shackles hanging loose and the drag-back chain is eliminated.

The trolley wheels last longer and; without the chain, the plant environment is quieter.

The elimination of the chain reduces not only raw material costs of the chain, but also reduces the associated energy costs of moving the chain throughout an entire plant.

There is approximately a 64% weight reduction when using these revolutionary plastic shackles versus the standard stainless steel shackles with chain. A 31” (78.7 cm) plastic shackle weighs approximately 1.4 (0.635 kg) pound versus 3.91 (1.774 kg) pounds for a 5/8” rod stainless steel shackle. This is a total weight savings of approximately 5,000 pounds (2268 kg) over the entire processing line.
